Laurel Oaks, located 1.5 miles east of I-75 off Bee Ridge, is a gated golf course community where residents enjoy the golf course lifestyle in elegant homes.
The 813 acre Laurel Oaks community of 404 homes is laid out with a limited number of homes in order to fully preserve the natural surroundings and provide a sense of quiet solitude. Most of the homes in Laurel Oaks range from 2,200 sq ft to 4,000 sq ft although some of the estate homes are as large as 7,500 square feet. All homes come with maintenance handled by a homeowners association. That is a great option for busy families and those who live in the area just six months of the year.
Laurel Oaks features two golf courses, each with Audubon certification. You'll see deer and other wildlife on both courses. The 18 hole East Course and West Course were recently re-designed.
The Club is private and member-owned. Amenities at the 45,000 sq.ft. clubhouse include 12 Har-Tru tennis courts,
a junior Olympic heated pool and Jacuzzi.
